Spring | June marks the official launch of our digital and print campaign: Made You Look. Twice. The slogan - originating from our company T-shirts - is a play on words, inspired by the twin status of our Principle designers, while serving as a call-to-action to the world around us to discover X Height Media.

Winter | January X Height Media starts the year off with the prompt to Find Your Flavour: our social media campaign.

Winter | January XHM Principle Designers, Lisa and Leslie task the young members of The Canadian Multicultural L.E.A.D. Organization for Mentoring and Training (L.E.A.D.) with a logo design exercise.

2012
Winter | "Mistake of History", glass wall display from the Dn'A collection by our design team, is mounted in the $3.7M Princess Margaret Home Lottery Grand Prize showhome in February. Spring | We are part of the Toronto International Brazilfest media launch on May 14th to discuss our role as the new design team behind the festival and its re-brand. Afterwards, we stopped to take a picture with festival founders Arlida D'Oliveira and Antonio Scisci. Summer | June | We are featured in the Toronto summer issue of lifestyle publication, Sway Magazine. Summer | Our Principals Lisa and Leslie Jones receive the Special Community Service Award (July 2008) and Recognition Award (July 2012) at Pickering, Ontario charity the Caribbean Event.
2014
Winter | In February, we sit down with Matt Green from Matt Green Media, to discuss the Dn'A product line and its exhibition that month at Speakerbox Vision's, The Art Galleria Expo.

Fall | November & December | X Height Media recently finishes the design of "Beyond Rum & Saltfish", commemorative publication for Barbados 50th Anniversary of Independence as a nation, and are on hand to present it to representatives of two national institutions. The first is to Ms. Lynn Lucas from Barbados Government Information Services (Fri, Nov. 25th, along with the book's Project Lead Grant Morris of publisher Grant Morris & Associates). The second presentation is made to Ms. Loleta Parris of National Libary Services Barbados (Dec 5th), with Editorial Committee Lead, Dr. Barbara Trieloff-Deane). Fall | December | On the 5th, XHM Principle Designers, Lisa and Leslie speak to the Graphic Design Fine Arts students at Barbados Community College, in Bridgetown, Barbados.

2010 Winter | XHM Principal Designers Lisa and Leslie Jones are profiled in Some Barbadian Canadian: A Biographical Dictionary (SBC), published in December. An initiative headed by the High Commission of Barbados to Canada, SBC profiles Barbadians or Canadians of Barbadian descent who have made significant contibutions in their field.

Winter | Our creative decor line, Dn'A is launched in January at the Interior Design Show. Selected from over 2000 applicants, it was one of 25 exhibited products in the Studio North environment. [Read our Press Release]
2009
Summer | Our design team is featured in the inaugurual issue of Crossover Magazine, launched in July. Crossover Magazine is aimed at students making the transition into chosen creative fields from post-secondary studies.

2007
Our poster receives the Qualifiers Award for the Shanghai International Poster Contest to Promote World Expo 2010 Shanghai China. The competition was a joint initiative hosted by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and the Shanghai Library. Announced in 2006, artists from around the world were invited to submit their interpretation of "harmonious life", relative to the Expo's theme of "Better City, Better Life". The poster is included amongst 142 works in an internationally distributed album commemorating the event.
